In June I will give four talks in support of the Vatican Museums which were shut for the period of the Covid 19 lockdown in Italy. The first talk is on the origins of Christian art and we descend to the Roman catacombs to explore where the first tentative art was formed. The second talk will bring us to the place which tradition claims Peter was buried. For our third talk we tour St. Peter’s Basilica while our fourth talk recounts the extraordinary story of the Medici cousins who both became pope.
